Art Dolls

What is an art doll? There are probably as many definitions as there are artists who create art dolls. To me, whether a doll is representation of a human, animal, or a fantasy character is not what is important, so long as it has a SOUL. It is limited to ONE, a unique piece of art which claims its existence by touching someone's heart, no matter what materials the artist has used. Artwork in this gallery is in private collections.
